A high-energy spark plug on three straight West Virginia Conference Tournament championship teams, Adrianne Harlow led the nation in assists in back-to-back seasons during a stellar four-year career (1998-2001) with the Lady Hilltopper basketball team.
The Indiana native was a four-year starter and three-year captain for Hall of Fame coach Lynn Ullom. A play-making point guard, Harlow led the nation in assists during her junior and senior seasons and was a three-time winner of the prestigious Heart & Hustle Award at the WVIAC Tournament. She finished her career as a 1,000-point scorer and her 843 career assists still rank among the Top 10 all-time in NCAA Division II women's basketball.
Harlow graduated with a perfect 4.00 GPA and received numerous scholar-athlete awards, highlighted by the 2000 WVIAC Commissioner's Award. Since leaving the hilltop, she enjoyed a long and successful collegiate coaching career with several NCAA Division I and NCAA Division II programs.
