Erie, Pa. – West Liberty's Brogan Bennett fired a three-under-par 69 in the second round to earn co-medalist honors at the Atlantic/East Regional Preview, held at Whispering Woods Golf Club in Erie, Pa.

Bennett led the charge for the Hilltoppers, who finished third in the team standings with a two-day total of 597 (+21), just six strokes behind tournament champions Davis & Elkins.

Starting on hole No. 5, Bennett set the tone early with a birdie on the par-four opener, followed by another on No. 9. His strong play continued on the back nine, where he carded birdies on holes 10, 12, and 18 to post a back-nine 33 and move to five-under for the day.

Heading into the front nine with a two-shot lead, Bennett appeared poised to capture the individual title outright. However, a triple bogey on the par-five third hole threatened to derail his momentum. He quickly regrouped with a clutch birdie on the par-four fourth to finish with a 141 (-3) overall, tying Aidan Talent of Davis & Elkins for medalist honors.

Justin Doerr also turned in a strong performance for the Hilltoppers, placing ninth with a two-day total of 148 (+4). Noah Seivertson finished tied for 20th at 151 (+7), followed by Jayson Beckner at 157 (+13) and Ethan Cook at 179 (+25).
