NORTH EAST, Pa. – The West Liberty University women's golf team made a late move up the leaderboard on Saturday to post an eighth-place finish at the Evann Parker Memorial hosted by Mercyhurst University at Lake View Country Club.

Alexis Ramby helped fuel the second-round surge by Coach
Shane Rice's Hilltoppers. Pettit, a 3-time All-MEC honoree, fired a 5-over-par 77 on Saturday to nab a Top 10 finish in the medal chase at 162.
Ramby, a second-year freshman, came home with an 11-over-par 83 to earn a Top 20 spot with a 36-hole total of 168.
The West Liberty women make the short trek to Erie, Pa. on Sunday for the opening round of the Gannon Invitational at Whispering Woods Golf Club. The two-day event is scheduled to conclude on Monday.
