West Texas A&M's David Vega Gerstel and Luis Palomo, along with Lee University's George Cordall, share the individual lead at six-under-par following the opening round.

In the team standings, West Texas A&M and Missouri-St. Louis sit tied atop the leaderboard at 10-under-par, while defending national powers Florida Southern and Lee are two shots back at 8-under.
