Biography
2025-26 (FRESHMAN)
MEC Commissioner's Honor Roll... All-Mountain East Conference Second Team. Enjoyed a remarkable freshman campaign, establishing himself as one of the top golfers in the Mountain East Conference while helping lead the Hilltoppers to another NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional appearance. Became just the third individual NCAA Division II National Championship qualifier in program history, joining Matt Hicks (2005) and Ryan Thomson (2012), after finishing fourth at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional. Captured his first collegiate tournament title by earning medalist honors at the Bedford Springs Invitational, winning a playoff after finishing at 2-under par. Recorded eight top-15 finishes during the season, including fifth at the Vulcan Fire Classic, sixth at the Bluefield State Intercollegiate, 13th at the Wheeling Fall Invitational, 13th at the Mountain East Conference Championship, 15th at the MEC Spring Classic, 15th at the UC Invitational and 21st at the Cecil C. Spadafora IUP Invitational. Capped his outstanding rookie season by competing at the NCAA Division II National Championship.
High School:
Attended The Linsly School in Wheeling, W.Va. Won the OVAC individual golf championship as a sophomore and junior while helping lead the Cadets to back-to-back OVAC team championships during those same seasons.
Off the Course:
Adam is the son of Ron and Gretchen Gill. He has two brothers, Logan Gill and Lincoln Gill. He is majoring in Biology.
