West Liberty, W.Va. — The National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) announced its 2025 Academic Honor Roll recipients on Sunday afternoon, and once again, the West Liberty University Acrobatics & Tumbling team made a strong showing. Eleven Hilltopper student-athletes earned a spot on the prestigious list, marking the sixth consecutive year that West Liberty has had ten or more honorees.
To be named to the NCATA Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher while remaining active members of their program's roster.
Highlighting the list is senior Gillian Hartz, who becomes a four-time Academic Honor Roll recipient, demonstrating exceptional consistency both academically and athletically throughout her career. Maryn Donnelly, Abbey Horvath, Olivia Kniola, and Abigail Salzman were all recognized for the second time, further showcasing the program's emphasis on academic excellence.
Joining them on this year's Honor Roll are Peyton Fry, Kayla Gandy, Gabby Guldin, Alyssa Jezierski, Kathryn Lake, and Amber Wilson — each making their mark through hard work in the classroom and in competition.
West Liberty's continued success in combining academic achievement with athletic performance speaks volumes about the culture fostered within the Acrobatics & Tumbling program.
