Indiana, Pa. – The West Liberty University men's golf team wrapped up the opening round of the Cecil C. Spadafora Invitational in 10th place after play concluded Tuesday at Indiana Country Club.

The Hilltoppers posted a team score of +39 on the day, led by Brogan Bennett's +7 (78), placing him in a tie for 21st individually. Ethan Cook and Justin Doerr each carded rounds of +9 (80), followed by Noah Seivertson with a +14 (85) and Eirik Lindholm at +16 (87).

Host Indiana (Pa.) University holds the top spot after day one with a team score of +21, narrowly edging Charleston, which sits just one stroke back at +22.

The tournament continues Wednesday with a shotgun start scheduled for Noon.
