Charleston, W.Va. - The West Liberty Hilltoppers secured a fifth-place finish at the Mountain East Conference (MEC) Spring Classic held at Berry Hills Country Club. The team posted a combined score of +67, showing resilience with a strong back-nine performance of +23 after a challenging front-nine at +44.

Brogan Bennett led the Hilltoppers with a +14 (73), finishing strong with an impressive 33 on the back nine. His stellar performance earned him a spot on the All-MEC First Team.

The awards factored in performances from five MEC-sponsored rounds, including three fall rounds at Cobb Course at the Resort at Glade Springs and the two-day event at Berry Hills.
