West Liberty, W.Va. – The West Liberty University men's and women's indoor track and field teams are back in action this weekend with split-squad competitions at Penn State and Youngstown State.

Weekend Meet Schedule

• Friday:

  • Ky'Ara Ross, Sierra Lanham, and Hunter Patterson will compete in the Penn State National Open.

  • The rest of the team will participate in the YSU Mid-Major Invitational at Youngstown State.

• Saturday:

  • Ross, Lanham, and Patterson will join their teammates at Youngstown State for the final day of the Mid-Major Invitational.

Strong Performances at Ashland Invitational

Last weekend, the Hilltoppers delivered record-breaking performances at the Ashland Invitational:

• Hunter Patterson:

  • 60m Dash – 2nd place (6.81) New School Record

  • 200m Dash – 2nd place (21.77) New School Record

• Isaac Tavo:

  • Shot Put – 2nd place (16.31m) New School Record

  • Weight Throw – 8th place (15.41m)

• Ky'Ara Ross:

  • 60m Dash – 7th place (7.76) New School Record

  • Long Jump – 5th place (5.47m)
