Indianapolis,Ind. - Three West Liberty University men's wrestlers are bringing home titles from the Little State Invite in Indianapolis, Ind.
Jordan Watters is the champion at 157 lbs. he took an 8-2 decision over Jeff Dunask from Marian.
At 174 lbs. Carter Winegardner earned a 4-3 decision over Leo Galasso of Indiana Tech in the championship bout. Also at 174 lbs. Topper teammates faced off for fifth with Tony Abbott picking up a 5-3 tiebreaker against Breagan Pearson.
Parker Bentley took the top spot at 285 lbs. he won by tech fall over Titus Waters Wabash, 17-2.
Five other Hilltoppers also placed, 125 lbs. Logan Davis was third, Jame Armstrong was sixth at 133 lbs. at 141 lbs. Anthony Wood was seventh, Levi Abbott was also seventh at 165 lbs. Brandon Johnson lost in the 197 lbs. championship match to finish second.
As a team West Liberty had the second most match points with 570, Indiana Tech was first with 815.
WLU will return to action Dec. 22nd when they host the Hilltopper Duals at the ASRC.
