Daniels, W.Va. - The West Liberty University men's golf team is in third place at the Mountain East Conference Classic at the Glade Springs Resort in Daniels, W.Va. The Toppers opened with 295 (+7) team total. The University of Charleston is first at 293 (+5).  

Individually four Toppers are inside the top 15. Noah Seivertson 73 (+1) and Brogan Bennett 73(+1) are tied for eighth, Awethu Mkhwanazi 74(+2) is 13th and Justin Doerr 75(+3) is 15th, Jayson Beckner is 22nd with a 78 (+6). Williams Carestam of Charleston is the first round leader with a 69 (-3). 

Round two is Tuesday.
