WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. - The 17th and final edition of the national coaches and media polls have been released. The West Liberty University men's basketball team heads into the NCAA Tournament ranked No. 5 in the NABC Coaches Poll and No. 6 in the D2SIDA National Media Poll.
The Hilltoppers have been ranked all 16Â weeks this season and the preseason, all but one week they have been in the top-15 in at least one of the polls. West Liberty is fifth in most weeks ranked in the top 25 since 1959-60 with a staggering 206 appearances in the national polls. The Hilltoppers have been ranked, in the top 10, 163 times in program history, the second most by any in DII, then is third all-time in weeks ranked in the top five with 113 appearances.

West Liberty will compete in the NCAA Atlantic Region starting Saturday against Pitt-Johnstown in Indiana, Pa at 2:30 pm.
