Brookville, Pa. – Erin Shockey is playing as the lone West Liberty University women's golfer at this weekend's Clarion Fall Invitational and is currently sitting in 11^th place on the player leaderboard. With an 84 (+12) in the first round, Shockey is only three strokes behind third place overall.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Erin Shockey opened the Clarion Fall Invitational with an 84 (+12) in the first round, which was right at her season stroke average of 84.8 entering the tournament. After opening the day with par on hole 13, she recorded four bogeys and three double bogeys on the next ten holes before ending the day by shooting par on six of the final seven holes. Shockey carded a 40 (+3) on the front nine and was 44 (+9) on the back nine.
