RAVENNA, Ohio - The West Liberty University women's golf team began its 2022 season this weekend at the Falcon Fall Invite, hosted by Notre Dame College.
The Hilltoppers finished in fourth place on the team leaderboard at the five team event.
Erin Shockey led the Black and Gold on the individual board with two rounds of 84 for a tournament total of 168. The junior Hilltopper placed in a tie for 8th place out of 25 golfers.
Alexis Ramby broke the 90 mark both days to start the season with a total score of 173, ending in 14th place. Ramby shot an 85 on day one and followed it with an 88 on the final 18.
West Liberty will be back on the course next Monday and Tuesday (September 12-13) at the Golden Eagle Invitational in Charleston.
