MANSFIELD, Pa. - The West Liberty University women's cross country team ran at the Ed Winrow Memorial Invite (Pre-Regional Meet) today at Lamb's Creek Course. The Hilltoppers finished sixth out of nine teams with a score of 162.
Shania Keene led the Hilltoppers in 30th place overall with a time of 25:14.4.
Savannah Moorehead was ten seconds behind Keene to finish in 33rd.
Ally Hicks and
Blake Hull were neck and neck placing 42nd and 43rd with times of 26:01 and 26:10.
Morgan Lesnansky rounded out the West Liberty quintet with a 26:24.
84 runners competed in the 6k race. Bloomsburg took home first place team honors, while Carly Daniels, of Mansfield, finished atop the individual leaderboard at 22:44.6.
West Liberty will be back in action at Slippery Rock's Bill Lennox Invitational on October 22nd.
