NEW CONCORD, Ohio - Despite being without standout runner
Hannah Kemp, the West Liberty University women's cross country team placed all five runners in the top-11 and won the Muskingum Invitational on Saturday.
Shania Keene led the Hilltoppers with a fourth-place finish with a time of 26:13.5 for a 7:01.8 average mile.
Ally Hicks,
Blake Hull, and
Savannah Moorehead finished in that order for places six thru 8. Hicks paced the bunch with a 26:34.0, Hull and Moorehead finished seconds apart just over 20 seconds after Hicks.
Morgan Lesnansky rounded out the Black and Gold with a time of 27:44.4, over 30 seconds in front of 12th place.
West Liberty will be back in action Saturday at teh Ed Winrow Invitational (Pre-Regional Meet) in Mansfield, Pa.
