    BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – With West Liberty and West Virginia State each hosting their Fall 2021 commencement exercises this weekend, the Mountain East Conference has approved the following schedule changes for the men's and women's basketball doubleheader originally scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
    - The Hilltopper and Yellow Jackets' women's basketball teams will play their scheduled game Saturday at 5:30 p.m. inside the ASRC
    - However, Saturday's men's basketball game has now been moved to Monday night and will tip off at 6 p.m. inside the Walker Convocation Center on the West Virginia State campus.
    - The second game of the season between the two women's programs is set for Feb. 2 at West Virginia State with a 5:30 p.m. tipoff.
    - The return match for the men has also been scheduled for Feb. 2. It will tip off at 6 p.m. inside the ASRC.
    Next up for the West Liberty men and women is a crucial Wednesday night doubleheader against Charleston inside the ASRC. The women's teams get things rolling at 5:30 p.m. with the men's game scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start.
