DANIELS, W.Va. – The West Liberty University men's golf team settled for an 11th-place finish here Monday as the Glade Springs Intercollegiate event wrapped up its two-day run.
A total of 18 teams from the East and Atlantic Regions played a total of three rounds on Sunday and Monday at the Woodhaven and Stonehaven layouts with Gannon holding off Charleston to claim a three-stroke win in the team standings.
Returning All-Region standout
Alex Easthom was low man for the Hilltoppers, just missing a Top 10 finish in the medal chase with a 9-over-par 225.
Peyton Moore was next for the Black and Gold at 18-over-par 234.
Coach
Mike Ricci's West Liberty squad returns to action on Sept. 23-24 when they compete in the Canaan Valley Invitational at Thomas, W.Va.
