WHEELING, W.Va. – Top-seeded and No. 5-ranked West Liberty will be gunning for its second MEC Tournament title in the past three seasons today against No. 3 seed Notre Dame. The MEC Tournament championship game is set for a 4 p.m. tipoff at WesBanco Arena.

The Hilltoppers fought their way into the title tilt on Saturday with an 88-84 victory against No. 5-seeded Concord.
Eric Meininger had 24 points and 11 rebounds while
Yahel Hill and
Will Yoakum added 18 points each.
The red-hot Falcons tied an MEC Tournament record with 15 3FGs in their 85-67 thrashing of No. 2 seed Fairmont State. Isaiah Sanders' 20 points paced five double-figure scorers for Notre Dame.
West Liberty won both regular-season meetings, taking a 103-93 early-season decision in South Euclid, Ohio and getting a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from Meininger to escape with a 99-98 home win in the final week of the regular season.
