West Liberty, W.Va. - West Liberty Hilltoppers women's track & field junior sprinter Brookelyn Reynolds has been named Hilltopper of the Week after a record-setting performance at the Ashland Jud Logan Light Giver Invitational.
Competing against a strong elite field at the Niss Athletic Center, Reynolds etched her name into the West Liberty record book twice. She set a new school record in the women's 400-meter dash, finishing seventh in the elite division with a time of 58.56. The Williamstown, W.Va. native also anchored the 4x400-meter relay team that posted another school mark, clocking 4:01.39 to place ninth overall.
A junior out of Williamstown High School, Reynolds' anchor leg capped a strong relay effort and underscored her consistency and competitiveness at the collegiate level.
