WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. — Junior Ky'Ara Ross has been named West Liberty's Hilltopper of the Week following an outstanding performance at the Ashland Invitational.
Competing against a strong regional field, the Canton, Ohio native led the Hilltoppers with a first-place finish in the long jump, posting a winning mark of 5.67 meters (18-7.25). Ross topped the field with her best leap of the meet, showcasing both consistency and explosiveness in the event.
Ross also made an impact on the track, advancing to the finals of the 60-meter dash and placing fifth overall with a time of 7.90 seconds. Her performance highlighted her versatility as both a sprinter and jumper.
A graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Ross continues to be a key contributor for the Hilltoppers during the indoor season, providing points and leadership across multiple events.
The Hilltoppers return to action this weekend at the Youngstown State University Multi Mid-Major Event.
