WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – West Liberty University senior Sierra Lanham has been named this week's Hilltopper of the Week following a standout performance at the Mountaineer Showcase on April 17.
The Morgantown, W.Va. native delivered an impressive all-around effort, highlighted by a first-place finish in the 200-meter dash. Lanham crossed the line in 25.20, claiming the event title against a competitive field.
She also turned in a strong showing in the 100-meter dash, placing third with a time of 12.55, while adding a fourth-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.40 meters (17' 8.75").
A senior jumper for the Hilltoppers, Lanham's versatility was on full display as she contributed across multiple events, helping lead West Liberty to a strong showing at the meet.
Lanham continues to be a key contributor for the Hilltoppers as they head into the final stretch of the outdoor season.
