West Liberty, W.Va. - Senior distance runner Ally Hicks delivered a standout performance to lead the West Liberty University women's track & field team at the Northeast Ohio Open.

The Cameron, W.Va. native dominated the women's 3000-meter steeplechase, capturing first place with a time of 12:09.22 to headline a 1-2 finish for the Hilltoppers. Her performance was a key part of an impressive overall showing for West Liberty, which recorded multiple event wins and top finishes across the two-day meet.

Hicks, a Linsly product, continues to be a steady leader for the distance group, showcasing her strength and consistency in one of the meet's most demanding events.

Her effort helped highlight a strong weekend for the Hilltoppers, earning her Hilltopper of the Week honors.
