West Liberty, W.Va. - For the first time this season, the West Liberty University men's soccer team has earned a spot in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Rankings.
The Hilltoppers sit at No. 10 this week following a 1-0 victory over Concord, who entered the week ranked No. 1 in the region and 10th nationally. This marks the fifth time in program history that West Liberty has been regionally ranked and the first since Oct. 15, 2023, when the team was ranked No. 8. During the 2023 season, the Hilltoppers appeared in three different polls, including No. 9 on Sept. 5 and again on Sept. 19.
The program's first-ever regional ranking came in 2022, when the Hilltoppers were ranked No. 9 on Sept. 6.
West Liberty returns to action on Wednesday, hosting Point Park at the West Family Athletic Complex.
