WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University men's soccer team continues to excel both on and off the field, earning the 2024-25 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for outstanding performance in the classroom.
Announced Thursday by United Soccer Coaches, the prestigious honor recognizes collegiate programs that posted a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2024-25 academic year. Under the leadership of head coach Sean Regan, the Hilltoppers achieved a 3.31 cumulative team GPA, reflecting the program's strong commitment to academic achievement.
West Liberty is one of 697 collegiate programs nationwide – including 283 men's teams and 414 women's teams – to receive the Team Academic Award this year.
