West Liberty, W.Va. – The West Liberty University Acrobatics & Tumbling team is set to host a tri-meet on Saturday at 4 p.m. inside the ASRC.

The Hilltoppers (2-4, 1-0 MEC) will welcome Kutztown University and Wheeling University for an afternoon of high-energy competition.

West Liberty is coming off a hard-fought battle at Belmont Abbey, where they fell in a close contest, 237.405-234.535.

Despite the setback, Kyla Gandy delivered an outstanding performance, particularly in the Tumbling event, earning:

• Heat 1: 7.85/8.75

• Heat 4: 9.5/10

Abbey Horvath also shined in the Pyramid event with impressive scores:

• Heat 1: 9.5/10

• Heat 2: 9.35/10

• Heat 3: 9.75/10

The Hilltoppers previously faced Wheeling in their season opener, securing a dominant 245.225-185.170 victory over the Cardinals.
