17 Hilltoppers Earn NCATA Academic Honor Roll Recognition

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University Acrobatics & Tumbling team continued to excel in the classroom as 17 Hilltoppers earned recognition on the 2026 National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Academic Honor Roll.

To qualify for the NCATA Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher while remaining on their team's active roster throughout the academic year.

West Liberty's 17 honorees reflect the program's ongoing commitment to academic success and achievement beyond competition. The Hilltoppers were represented by Thea Bordeaux, Kendra Callahan, Olivia Cinkan, Maryn Donnelly, Emmy Harkless-Lehew, Alexandra Hoke, Alaina Horvath, Kami Huff, Alyssa Jezierski, Olivia Kniola, Kaylan Legler, Gabby Means, Addy Miller, Charlotte Moise, Abby Salzman, Amber Wilson and Ayla Yater.

The academic recognition caps off another outstanding semester in the classroom for the Hilltopper program. During the Spring 2026 semester, West Liberty's Acrobatics & Tumbling team posted a 3.48 team GPA. The Hilltoppers also had 12 student-athletes earn a perfect 4.0 GPA while 21 team members finished the semester with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The NCATA Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence in the classroom while balancing the rigorous demands of collegiate athletics. The achievement highlights the dedication, discipline and time management skills required to succeed both academically and athletically.

West Liberty's strong representation on the honor roll, coupled with the team's impressive semester performance in the classroom, underscores the program's commitment to academic excellence and the continued success of Hilltopper student-athletes both in competition and in their studies.
