Indianapolis, Ind. – West Liberty sophomore Ky'Ara Ross showcased her talent on the national stage Friday, competing in the NCAA Division II long jump championship at the Fall Creek Pavilion.
Ross recorded a top jump of 5.54 meters, to finish 16th in the event.
Her appearance at nationals capped off an impressive indoor season, during which she not only qualified for the national tournament but also claimed the Mountain East Conference long jump title, setting a new school record with a leap of 5.94 meters.
With the indoor season now behind her, Ross shifts her focus to the upcoming outdoor campaign.
