WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University acrobatics and tumbling team is set to host a tri-match Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. inside the ASRC, welcoming Glenville State and No. 6 Fairmont State for an exciting day of competition.
The Hilltoppers kicked off their season in dominant fashion, defeating Wheeling University 245.225 - 185.170 in the first-ever meeting between the two programs. West Liberty controlled the entire meet, winning every heat in every round against the first-year Cardinals.
Sunday's match marks West Liberty's home opener, while it also serves as the season debut for both Glenville State and Fairmont State.
