Bridgeport, W.Va. – West Liberty University sprinter Hunter Patterson has been named the Mountain East Conference (MEC) Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, presented by The Health Plan.
Record-Breaking Performance at YSU Mid Major Invitational
Patterson, a sophomore from Chester, W.Va., continued his dominant indoor season on Saturday, setting two new school records at the YSU Mid Major Invitational at the Watson and Tressel Training Site.
Patterson's Historic Day:
The standout sprinter broke his own records set just a week earlier at Ashland. His 200m time ranks 33rd nationally in NCAA Division II, while his 60m time ranks 34th in the country this season.

Patterson and the Hilltopper track & field team return to competition Saturday at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge at Penn State.
