ROANOKE, W.Va. – The West Liberty Men's Golf team are through the first two rounds of the Dr. Wally Edgell Invitational hosted by Davis & Elkins College at the Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, West Virginia. As a team, WLU sits in 4th place overall with 18 holes of golf to play tomorrow morning. The Hilltoppers shot 299 (+11) in back-to-back rounds
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Sophomore Justin Doerr posted scores of 74 (+2) and 74 (+2) and sits in 8th place on the player leaderboard

Junior Jayson Beckner shot 70 (-2) in round one and posted a score of 82 (+10) in round two. Beckner sits at 21st on the player leaderboard

Senior Brogan Bennett checked in right behind Beckner with scores of 76 (+4) and 76 (+4) in rounds one and two

At 25th on the player leaderboard, Awethu Mkhwanazi shots of 79 (+7) and (+2) 74 through two rounds played

Noah Seiverston posted scores of 87 (+15) in the opening round and 75 (+3) in round rwo

Eirik Lindholm was listed as individual and linked scores of 81 (+9) and 78 (+6) heading to his final round.
