Doerr Earns NCAA Division II PING All-Region Honors

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – West Liberty University junior golfer Justin Doerr has been named to the 2026 NCAA Division II PING Atlantic All-Region Team, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced.
A native of Wheeling, W.Va. and graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School, Doerr earned all-region recognition following an outstanding junior campaign for the Hilltoppers.
Doerr posted four top- five finishes and six top-10 performances during the 2025-26 season, consistently leading West Liberty against some of the top competition in the Atlantic Region. His strong play throughout the year helped solidify the Hilltoppers as one of the region's top programs.
The honor also continues a strong tradition for the Hilltopper men's golf program, marking the 12th time in the past 13 seasons that West Liberty has placed a golfer on the NCAA Division II PING All-Region Team.
The junior standout was one of 12 golfers selected to the Atlantic Region squad. The full Atlantic Region team included:

  • Milo Thim, Point Park
The PING All-Region teams are selected annually by the GCAA and recognize the top NCAA Division II golfers across eight regions nationwide.
