West Liberty,W.Va. - Finley Woodward's impressive start to the season has earned him Mountain East Conference (MEC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors, presented by The Health Plan. Woodward made a significant impact in the Hilltoppers' first two games, recording double-doubles in both outings.

In Friday's victory over West Chester, Woodward tallied 14 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists. He followed that performance with a standout game against Bluefield State, posting 20 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. His early season averages are impressive, with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists per game.

The Hilltoppers are set to play again on Saturday, hosting Shepherd at the ASRC at 4 p.m.
