Bridgeport, W.Va. – On Monday afternoon West Liberty's
Justin Kaplan was recognized by the Mountain East Conference office as the league's Special Teams Player of the Week, presented by The Health Plan. It marks the second time in his career and first time this season that Kaplan has won the award.

- Helped lead West Liberty to a 48-40 victory over Glenville State on Saturday afternoon.
- Went 2-for-2 on field goal attempts in the win over the Pioneers, making field goals from 32 and 42 yards out.
- The 42 yard field goal marked a season-long.
- He is now 3-4 on attempts from 30 yards or longer this season.
