ERIE, Pa - The West Liberty University women's golf team played its final round before the Mountain East Conference Championships on Monday at the Michael Corbett Fall Classic hosted by Gannon University.

Day two of the tournament on Tuesday got rained out, so the round one score of 376 placed the Hilltoppers in 9th place out of 10 teams.

Alexis Ramby led the team with an 86 at the 5803-yard, par-72 Whispering Woods Golf Club. Erin Schockey tied for 37th place with an even 90 and Sara Simon rounded out the Hilltoppers in the top 50 with a 98 in 47th place.

The Mountain East Conference Championships are next on the docket for West Liberty. The three-day championship takes place October 3-5 at Avalon Lakes Golf and Country Club in Warren, Ohio.
