CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The West Liberty University women's golf team competed in the Golden Eagle Invitational on Monday and Tuesday in Charleston. The Hilltoppers shot a two-day team total of 696 to finish in sixth place out of 10 teams.
Erin Shockey finished strong with an 80-shot round on day two to lead the Black and Gold with a tournament total of 164, tying for 22nd place.Â
Alexis Ramby carded an 83 in both rounds of the event to finish with a 166 in 27th place.
West Liberty will be back on the links this Friday when they tee off at the Evan Parker Memorial hosted by Mercyhurst University in North East, Pa. Friday's round will begin a string of four consecutive competition days for WLU.
