WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – West Liberty University head women's golf coach Freddie Fitzsimmons has announced the Hilltoppers' five-event schedule for the 2026 fall season.
Entering his second season at the helm, Fitzsimmons will guide West Liberty through a competitive slate that features four regular-season tournaments before the Hilltoppers compete for a Mountain East Conference championship in early October.
West Liberty opens the season Sept. 3-4 at the California (Pa.) Vulcan Invitational, hosted at Cedarbrook Golf Course in California, Pa. The Hilltoppers return to action the following week at the University of Charleston Invitational, scheduled for Sept. 9-10 at Edgewood Country Club in Charleston, W.Va.
Following a brief break, West Liberty heads east for the West Chester Battlefield Classic on Sept. 21-22 at The Links at Gettysburg in Gettysburg, Pa. The final tune-up before postseason play comes Sept. 26-27 at the Golden Eagle Autumn Invitational, hosted by Clarion University at Clarion Oaks Golf Club in Clarion, Pa.
The fall season concludes Oct. 5-7 when the Hilltoppers compete in the Mountain East Conference Women's Golf Championship at Stonewall Resort's Palmer Course in Roanoke, W.Va.
