WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. - The West Liberty University women's golf team finished the three-day Mountain East Conference Championship earlier today. The Hilltoppers ended the event in 5th place with a team score of +228.
Alexis Ramby led the team with an 85 and two birdies in the final round to finish in a tie for 17th place. She finished the tournament with three of West Liberty's four birdies. Ramby's 85 was her best of the week and tied
Claire Kelly's first round for the best Hilltopper score.Â
Erin Shockey earned a top-25 finish with an 88 today, totaling a 268 in 24th place.
Sara Simon was three places behind Shockey after turning in a final-round 98.
The conference tournament was the last match of the fall season for West Liberty.
