WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. - The National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) has finalized its schedule for the upcoming 2023 season. West Liberty will host four meets as well as the national championships inside the Academic, Sports, and Recreation Center.
The 10-match regular season begins on February 5 with a trip to Waco, Texas to compete against the seven-time reigning national champion Baylor Bears.
Mountain East Conference play starts the following Thursday at Alderson Broaddus to take on the Battlers and the Senators of Davis & Elkins.
The home opener is slated for February 14 at 6 pm against Gannon, which is the first of three consecutive home meets. West Virginia Wesleyan and Stevenson visit the hilltop on back-to-back Sundays (Feb. 19 & 26).
Four straight road meets follow the homestand. MEC opponents, Frostburg State and Notre Dame host the Hilltoppers along with non-conference road trips to King University in Tennessee and Kutztown, Pa.
Fairmont State comes to town for the regular season finale before the MEC Championships on April 14 & 15.
NACTA selected West Liberty to host the national championship event on the 27th through 29th of April. Additional information regarding the championship schedule, event tickets and live streaming will become available in the spring.
