JACKSON SPRINGS, N.C. – The West Liberty University men's golf team opened its abbreviated spring slate with a strong showing in the BrownGolf Invitational, which wrapped up here Saturday at FoxFire Resort.
First-year coach
Thadd Obecny's Hilltoppers finished fourth in a strong 12-team field. Junior All-Region standout
Alex Easthom led the way with a 2-over-par 146, good for a fourth-place finish in the medal chase behind Gannon's Abe Holmes (142).
Howie Peterson (13th) and
Caleb Moore (19th) also posted Top 20 finishes for the Black and Gold.
The WLU men return to action March 28-30 when they compete in the University of Charleston Invitational.
