West Liberty Women Rout Notre Dame

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women's tennis team had no trouble handing Notre Dame (Ohio) an 8-1 loss at the Edgar Martin Tennis Complex on Sunday afternoon.
Coach Heather Gallagher's Hilltoppers (12-4) were in command from the start after making a clean sweep of the three doubles matches against the visiting Falcons (2-6).
Raquel Cabero and Laura Huwe took an 8-6 nod at No. 1 doubles with Alaina Pauley and Ana Berbel combining for an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles. The No. 3 doubles tandem of Kate Pinchuk and Andrea Puga sprinted to an 8-1 rout in their match.
The dominance continued in singles play with the Black and Gold taking five of the six matches, all in straight sets.
Cabero, Berbel, Puga, Pauley and Lisa Nachtwey posted singles wins for the hosts in their final home match of the spring season.
