FAIRMONT, W.Va. – The West Liberty University men's tennis team crushed Fairmont State, 8-1, here Friday afternoon in a mutual Mountain East Conference opener.

Sam McCullough's Hilltoppers (2-0, 1-0) swept all three doubles matches and posted straight-set wins in five of the six singles matches to post the easy win.

Gutierrez and Ponder teamed up for the win at No. 1 doubles while Moncayo and
Pablo Cimorra rolling at No. 2 doubles and the pairing of Flanagan and Tully coasting to victory at No. 3 doubles.
The Hilltoppers will head to Erie, Pa. on Friday for the start of the Intercollegiate Tennis Open.
