PRINCETON, W. Va. – For the third consecutive season, WV Wesleyan wrapped up the regular season with an unblemished mark. The Bobcats, by virtue of an 8-0 league record, are the top seed at this weekend's conference championship.

WVWC will take on either No. 8 Fairmont or No. 9 WV State. The two squads will battle in a first-round match Thursday at 3 p.m. at Shoenbaum.

On Friday, the morning kicks off with No. 3 Charleston and No. 6 Shepherd squaring off at 9 a.m. Their match will take place at Shoebaum. At the same time, No. 2 Bluefield State will face seventh-seeded Davis & Elkins at Coonskin.

At 11 a.m., the Bobcats will tangle with either FSU or WVSU. That match will take place at Coonskin. The No. 4 West Liberty - No. 5 Concord match-up is also slated for 11 a.m. That competition will take place at Shoenbaum.

The all-conference awards will take place at 2 p.m. at Shoenbaum.

Following the award ceremony, the semifinals will take place at 3:15. The #1/8/9 seed will take on the #4/5 seed at Coonskin while the #3/6 seed will play the #2/7 seed at Shoenbaum.

The winners of the semifinals will square off for the WVIAC crown at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The finals match will take place at Shoenbaum.

All of the teams have wrapped up their regular season with the exception of Fairmont State, which hosts Edinboro Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

The Bobcats will try to defend their crown, which they won a year ago by defeating Charleston 5-0 in the finals. WVWC will be vying for its fourth consecutive league title.
