INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Head coach Lynn Ullom and his West Liberty University women's basketball program are heading back to the NCAA Division II tournament for the 11th time in the past 15 seasons.

The Hilltoppers (24-6), who were upset by Concord in last week's West Virginia Conference tournament quarterfinals, have received an at-large bid as the No. 3 seed in this week's NCAA Division II Atlantic Region tournament.

They will take on No. 6 seed Millersville, Pa. (22-6) on Friday in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic Region tournament, which is being hosted by top-seeded Edinboro (Pa.) University. 

This marks the second consecutive season that the Marauders and the Hilltoppers have met in the regional quarterfinals. Millersville downed West Liberty, 66-50, in last year's post-season tournament at California (Pa.) University.

The Hilltoppers were one of three West Virginia Conference team to earn regional invitations.

Glenville State (23-8), which earned the WVIAC's automatic bid by defeating Charleston in the tournament championship game, is the No. 7 seed and will take on No. 2 seed Johnson C. Smith, N.C. (24-4) in Friday's quarterfinals. The Glenville/J.C. Smith winner will meet the West Liberty/Millersville survivor in Saturday's regional semifinals.

Charleston (24-7), the WVIAC regular-season champion, received an at-large bid as the No. 4 seed and has drawn No. 5 seed California, Pa. (22-7) in the quarterfinals. The other quarterfinal on that side of the bracket pits top-seeded Edinboro (26-3) against Shaw, N.C. (21-11), which upset Johnson C. Smith in the championship game of the CIAA Tournament to earn that league's automatic bid.

Tipoff times for all Atlantic Region tournament games will be announced on Monday.
