FROSTBURG, Md. — The West Liberty Hilltoppers women's basketball return to Mountain East Conference action Wednesday evening, traveling to face Frostburg State Bobcats women's basketball in a 5:30 p.m. tipoff at Bobcat Arena.
West Liberty enters the contest at 7-15 overall and 4-11 in MEC play, while Frostburg State sits at 10-12 overall and 6-9 in conference action. The two teams met earlier this season in West Liberty, where the Bobcats edged the Hilltoppers, 65-60.
The Hilltoppers continue to rely on a balanced offensive attack, averaging 71.4 points per game and ranking among the league's top perimeter shooting teams with 7.5 three-pointers per contest. West Liberty also holds a strong assist-to-turnover ratio advantage over its opponents (0.8 to 0.6), showcasing unselfish ball movement.
Individually, Reagan Vinskovich leads the Hilltoppers at 17.6 points and 9.0 rebounds per game, while shooting better than 51 percent from the floor.
