Pair of School Records Fall at Ashland Jud Logan Light Giver Invitational

ASHLAND, Ohio — The West Liberty University women's track and field team turned in a historic performance Saturday at the Ashland Jud Logan Light Giver Invitational, setting two school records against a strong field at the Niss Athletic Center.

Brookelyn Reynolds highlighted the day by setting a new school mark in the women's 400-meter dash, finishing seventh in the elite division with a time of 58.56. Reynolds also anchored the 4x400-meter relay team that established another school record, clocking 4:01.39 to place ninth overall. The relay squad was rounded out by Hannah Rowan, Sasha Hunter, and Sierra Lanham.

Additional strong performances followed in the field and hurdle events. Sierra Davis placed fifth in the shot put with a top throw of 11.37 meters, while Marissa Scott finished seventh in the 60-meter hurdles, posting a time of 9.14.

On the men's side, Ethan Furbee recorded an eighth-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 6.36 meters.
