WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. — The West Liberty Hilltoppers men's and women's track and field teams are set for a full weekend of competition at the 2026 AU LightGiver Indoor Meet, hosted Friday and Saturday.

The two-day meet features a deep field of competitors and an extensive slate of elite and open events across both track and field disciplines, providing the Hilltoppers another opportunity to post strong marks as the indoor season continues to build toward championship season.

Friday's competition begins at 12:00 p.m. with the weight throw, followed by elite weight throw sections for both men and women. The afternoon also includes pole vault, triple jump, and elite long jump competitions.

On the track, Friday features a mix of sprint qualifiers and distance races, including the 60-meter qualifier, open 800 meters, distance medley relay (DMR), and multiple heats of the 5,000 meters. The evening session concludes with 200-meter races and the final distance heats.

Saturday's action opens with field events at 10:00 a.m., highlighted by long jump, high jump, and shot put, including elite finals in the throws. On the track, the day features a packed schedule with 3,000 meters, 400 meters, mile, 60-meter hurdles, and 60-meter dash semifinals and finals.

Elite sections of the 400 meters and 800 meters will showcase top competitors, while the meet wraps up with the 3,000 meters and 4x400-meter relays on Saturday evening.
