Fairmont, W.Va. - The West Liberty University wrestling team delivered a strong performance at the Mountain East Conference Futures Tournament at Fairmont State, an event designed for MEC wrestlers who will not be competing at the upcoming Super Regional.
The Futures Tournament provided valuable mat time and postseason experience for developing wrestlers, and the Hilltoppers made the most of the opportunity with multiple podium finishes, including four individual champions.

West Liberty crowned four individual champions:
Morgan led all West Liberty scorers with 21 team points at 165 pounds, while Sentipal added 18 points at 149. Richmond and Abbott each secured titles with dominant runs through their brackets.
