WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – Five members of the West Liberty University men's track and field team have been named to the 2025 Academic All-District® Men's Track & Field Team, as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
The prestigious honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and academic excellence.
Representing the Hilltoppers on this year's All-District Team are hurdler George Donovic, pole vaulter Reese Burnside, sprinter Jacob Taylor, distance runner Robert Allen, and decathlete Julius Hobbs.

George Donovic, a junior from Bar, Montenegro, boasts a perfect 4.00 GPA while majoring in accounting.

Reese Burnside, a senior from West Union, W.Va., holds a 3.98 GPA in the Master of Science program for Speech-Language Pathology.

Jacob Taylor, a sophomore from Weirton, W.Va., carries a 3.80 GPA as an exercise physiology major.

Robert Allen, a junior from Moundsville, W.Va., is pursuing a degree in sports management and owns a 3.77 GPA.

Julius Hobbs, a senior from Buckhannon, W.Va., holds a 3.58 GPA while majoring in criminal justice.
These student-athletes exemplify the Hilltopper standard of success both in their sport and in the classroom.
