WLU Track and Field Athletes Compete In Last Chance Meets

West Liberty, W.Va. - As the regular season comes to a close, WLU track and field athletes are looking to improve marks and strengthen their chances for NCAA qualification. This weekend features three meets across three days, with athletes focused on execution and results.

Thursday – Allegheny College:
Kyara Ross and Sierra Lanham  will compete in the long jump, aiming to extend their marks and build momentum. Isaac Tavo will compete in the discus. 

 

Friday – Baldwin Wallace:
Francis Toohey will race in both the 800m and 1500m, targeting improved times in each event. Robert Allen and Jasper Brown will also run the 1500m, looking for a strong finish and competitive marks heading into the postseason.

Saturday – West Virginia University (WVU):
Ross and Lanham return to the long jump runway, seeking to fine-tune their approaches and improve their distances. Tavo will compete again in the discus, closing out the weekend with another chance to move up the qualifying list.
